In February 2013, club member Adam Herczeg was lucky enough to travel to Rwanda as part of The FA Changing Lives Programme.

Whilst he was there, he mentored young leaders in the capital Kigali, whilst also working with children in the schools in the capital city.

It was such a fantastic experience that was gained through Adam’s volunteer work at Gateshead Redheugh and as part of The FA Football Futures Programme.

The club donated playing shirts to The Dream Academy based in Rwanda.
